2010 Citroen DS

2010 Citroen DS
It has been about a year since the French automaker launched the all new Citroen DS line, and only a few months after the new DS3 broke cover, the new car builder is taking the next step by unveiling the new DS High Rider concept at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The High Rider is a modern car with an innovative technological approach, especially because of the new "Full Hybrid "diesel powertrain.

The Citroen C4

The Citroen C4
Let me begin with the Citroen C4. At an attractive price scale of between 68 to 72k for the entry level and the subsequent high pressure Turbocharged version, it is no surprise that the C4 is an increasingly popular car here in Singapore and a little underrated by the public i should say. Approaching from afar, the car looks handsome with its uninterrupted curves and the tasteful 16-inch alloys which come as standard with the car.

Look a little closer and you will notice the fine detail that has been paid towards the styling of the car as a whole, it looks as if the designers were the kind who would commit suicide if anything went wrong, thus the flawless appearance.

GT by CITROËN Concept Does Tourist Thing On GT5 London Street Circuit

citroen gt
If you've ever been to London, you'll recognize every place in this photoset, taken when the GT by CITROËN concept car hit the streets recreating a course from Gran Turismo 5 and generally doing the tourist thing.

The GT by CITROËN is the sting ray inspired stunner which debuted at the Paris Motor Show after its digital unveil as a car in Playstation's Gran Turismo 5. It made the rounds at all the famous London hot spots like any tourist does, and no-doubt got stuck in the hideous central London traffic. The car will be making its formal UK debut when it takes a spin at the Goodwood Festival of Speed July 3-5, also known as that weekend's happiest place on Earth

2010 Citroen C-Crosser: Minor Interior Upgrades and New Dual-Clutch Transmission

2010 Citroen C-Crosser: Minor Interior Upgrades and New Dual-Clutch Transmission
Citroen's C-Crosser SUV, which is in essence a thinly "disguised" French version of the Mitsubishi Outlander, has received some minor updates for the 2010 model year. To be revealed for the first time at the upcoming Franfkurt Show, the C-Crosser benefits from the introduction of the DCS dual clutch semi-automatic transmission, enhanced interior trim design and according to Citroen, a re-homologated diesel engine that delivers lower CO2 emissions and improved fuel economy.

The new 6-speed DSC dual clutch transmission is available with Citroen's 156-horsepower 2.2-liter HDi turbo diesel engine. With this drivetrain, the C-Crosser diesel hits the 100km/h (62mph) mark from standstill in 11.1 seconds (manual: 9.9 sec) and reaches a top speed of 198km/h or 123 mph while recording CO2 emissions of 192g/km and a fuel consumption on the combined cycle of 38.7mpg UK (7.3 lt /100km or 32.2mpg US).

Citroen said that the C-Crosser's 2.2HDi 16V 156hp DPFS engine with the manual transmission has been re-homologated and now boasts reduced CO2 emissions of 185g/km while fuel economy has been improved to over 40mpg UK on the combined cycle.
For the 2010 model year, the C-Crosser also receives interior enhancements as all versions benefit from an updated dashboard design with new chrome inserts around the dials and vents, plus an improved finish on the door panels.

Citroen DS Revolte Concept: Official Photos of 2CV Inspired Hatch

Citroen DS Revolte Concept
A complete set of photos of Citroen's Frankfurt motorshow-bound concept car have leaked online. As you can see from the images, the prototype model bears the name 'Revolte' while the signature logo on the bonnet suggests that the car is part of Citroen's newly formed DS line-up that includes the recently announced DS3 premium supermini. While we don't have the details behind the DS Revolte, the vehicle's design that draws on the iconic 2CV implies that it could be previewing a sub-DS3 model.

Despite the 2CV styling cues that include details such as the fabric top that covers the whole length of the roof and the curvy front and rear ends, the Revolte boasts a more athletic and aggressive design than the classic Citroen, which is more than welcome, of course. Other highlights include the 'suicide' rear doors and the overly futuristic interior with the alien spaceship-like dashboard. Expect to hear more about the Revolte in the next few days.

Citroen C3 MPV

Citroen C3 MPV
The new Citroen supermini-MPV is unveiled! (Look at the previous spy shots.) The Citroen C3 MPV is a vital part of the company’s plans because as well as the Note, it will aim to steal sales from the Honda Jazz and Renault Modus, plus the next-generation Opel Meriva.

The C3 MPV is targeting customers who want space and flexibility in a compact, eco-friendly package, but designers will also tempt them with style. At the front, the bold nose gets intricate headlamps, neat lower spotlights, large air intakes and a big grille, on which the famous double-chevron badge is mounted. Moving back, the curvy A-pillars are similar to those on the C4 Picasso, but are thinner and have more glass for better side vision.A production-ready version of the C3 MPV will debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, with sales starting in early 2009. The range is set to be priced from around $20,000.
