She's a wonderful person who I first met in 1984 when she had a summer internship at the San Diego Zoo and I was a TV sportscaster on KGTV. Brooke introduced me to her current husband Chris Henchy in 2001 on her birthday flying to San Francisco when she was heading to be a celebrity spokesperson at a national fund raiser for ALS or Lou Gehring's disease.

If you’re thinking about googling Jessica Biel, you may want to have protection – antivirus protection, that is. According to internet security software giant, McAfee, she led the world in searches that result in a virus. So what does the diva who has become bait for viruses have in her garage? The 27-year-old actress has been spotted in both a Lexus RX400H hybrid and Audi TT convertible.

More on the Jessica Biel virus risk from Associated Press: Security technology company McAfee Inc. on Tuesday reported that searches for the 27-year-old actress are more likely to lead to online threats such as spyware and viruses than searches for any other celebrity.

McAfee said fans searching for the actress have a one-in-five chance of ending up at a Web site designed to damage one's computer. Its the third annual report on the subject from McAfee, which last year found that Brad Pitt was the "most dangerous" celeb online.

About the Audi TT convertible


From The Car Connection: Last year Audi gave the TT a complete redesign; while the new TT doesn't make the design waves that the first-generation car did, the automaker finally dials up the TT’s performance to suit its racy profile. The 2009 Audi TT gets a few minor changes but is essentially carried over; however, 2009 brings an all-new, higher-performance TTS variant. Ted Kennedy Car Accident

Edward "Ted" Kennedy was driving his car on Chappaquiddick Island on the night of July 18th, 1969 with his brothers aide, Mary Jo Kopechne. He drove his car off of a bridge and swam to safety leaving the 28 year old woman behind. She was found dead in the submerged car 10 hours later. He had informed police that he was driving Mary to the ferry after a party that took place on the island.

While common sense says that most likely Ted Kennedy was drunk after this "party". He has said that he was certainly not drunk and there was no mis conduct involved. He did not report the accident when it happened.

LeAnn Rimes In Car Accident Trouble

Singer LeAnn Rimes ran into a little bit of car trouble Thursday night. People reports that police questioned LeAnn after what seems to be a relatively minor traffic accident.

"There was a routine police investigation into this incident, and a police report was filed," her spokesperson told People. "We are confident that this matter will be resolved shortly and LeAnn will be cleared."

Poor LeAnn. And her Thursday seemed amazingly fabulous too. She and Eddie Cibrian spent the day playing a game of golf. The two seem like they're taking their relationship to the next level. She is getting a divorce from her husband; he is getting a divorce from his wife. And then she gets into a car accident. Maybe the fates are trying to tell her something.

Luckily the accident is nothing too major and she doesn't seem to be any other sort of trouble. "We can confirm she was involved in some type of traffic accident," says a rep for the LAPD. "She was questioned and released. It's an ongoing investigation."

Car matching Ryan Jenkins' last ride is at sister's condo

A silver PT Cruiser matching the description of the vehicle seen dropping off reality TV actor and murder suspect Ryan Jenkins at a motel is parked at his half-sister's condominium in Vancouver.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Cpl. Norm Massie declined to say Wednesday whether Alena Jenkins is the mystery woman who checked Jenkins into a motel in Hope, British Columbia, three days before he was found dead in his room Sunday of an apparent suicide.

A message left with a woman answering Alena Jenkins' phones was not immediately returned. The woman said Jenkins' half-sister was away arranging funeral details.

Police say they have identified the woman who helped Jenkins check into the motel, but have not released her identity. Police have said the two had a history together and they were investigating whether she would face charges. She is not in custody.

Massie said police would need proof the woman knew Ryan was wanted before they could file charges.

Jenkins, a contestant on VH1's "Megan Wants a Millionaire," was accused of killing his ex-wife, a model whose body was so badly mutilated when found in a trash bin outside Los Angeles that it had to be identified by the serial numbers on her breast implants. He evaded an international manhunt for days as he crossed from the United States into his native Canada.

Police in California have not determined where Jasmine Fiore was killed.

Kevin Walker, who manages the Thunderbird Motel in Hope where Jenkins died, said Jenkins and a young woman arrived Thursday in a Chrysler PT Cruiser with tinted windows and a license plate from Alberta, Jenkins' home province. Jenkins stayed in the car, Walker said.

Walker said he never saw the woman or the car again, and another tenant said the woman left about 20 minutes after check-in.

The PT Cruiser parked in Alena Jenkins' parking lot has an Alberta license plate.

"We're not going to confirm or deny anyone involved in the investigation," Massie said. "Our investigation is on two fronts, first we want to find the circumstances around the incident at the motel in Hope and, as importantly, we have yet to determine how Ryan entered Canada from the U.S. and if any one assisted him doing so."

Car linked to Ryan Jenkins may be connected to dad, sister

Ryan Jenkins' father has a Chrysler PT Cruiser matching the description of the vehicle seen dropping off his fugitive son at a B.C. motel last week, according to law enforcement sources and court records obtained by the Calgary Herald.

On Tuesday, evidence emerged that Ryan Jenkins' half-sister, Alena Jenkins, could now have the vehicle. A Canwest News Service reporter and photographer spotted a silver PT Cruiser with Alberta licence plates in the parkade of her downtown Vancouver condominium building.

Ryan Jenkins, 32, hanged himself inside a room at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, B.C., as authorities on both sides of the border hunted for him in connection with the Los Angeles-area murder of his ex-wife, 28-year-old swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore.

Fiore's mutilated body was found on Aug. 15, stuffed inside a suitcase placed in a garbage bin in Buena Park, near Los Angeles.

The former Calgary real estate developer and reality-TV contestant was charged Thursday in California with the murder of Fiore.

That same day, witnesses saw a woman driving a silver PT Cruiser with Alberta licence plates check Jenkins into the Thunderbird Motel while he waited outside in the vehicle.

RCMP have said they know who checked Jenkins into the motel in Hope, but won't reveal the woman's identity. Nor would investigators make any comment about who owns the PT Cruiser witnesses saw the woman driving.

"I won't speak to that at all," said RCMP Cpl. Norm Massie of the federal border integrity program.

However, sources with access to Alberta vehicle records said a silver 2001 PT Cruiser is among several vehicles registered under Dan Jenkins' name.

Neighbours at Dan Jenkins' home in Calgary said the vehicle had been stored in the parkade underneath his condominium for an extended period of time — but had recently been moved.

Although investigators wouldn't officially connect Alena Jenkins to their probe, media reports out of Vancouver Tuesday stated the RCMP had spoken with her.

A woman who answered the phone at Alena's residence Tuesday said she was not home.

An online profile says the 19-year-old is a model, photographer and poet specializing in "beauty, boudoir and fashion accessory photography."

Despite investigators' official reluctance to disclose any more details, a law enforcement source confirmed they are examining whether Dan Jenkins' PT Cruiser was indeed the vehicle seen outside the Thunderbird Motel.

"My understanding is, yes, he (Dan Jenkins) does own one. Whether it's the same one or not, I don't have that information."

It's too early to tell whether additional charges will be laid against the mystery woman who helped Ryan Jenkins check into the motel since police are still gathering evidence and have not taken it to the Crown's office, the source said.

"This investigation didn't end with finding Ryan in the hotel in Hope, it's continuing whether anybody — on either side of the border — assisted him in any way."

The Buena Park Police Department has said Ryan Jenkins was the last person seen with Fiore in the San Diego area.

A manhunt ensued and police laid a murder charge against Ryan Jenkins, a Calgary realtor-turned-California reality TV contestant, as he made his way across the border into B.C.

It's believed Ryan Jenkins drove his boat from Blaine, Wash. to Point Roberts, Wash., a small peninsula community whose only land access is through Canada.

Point Roberts would have been familiar ground to Ryan Jenkins: his father and stepmother, Karen Stanwood, co-owned a home there.

While Stanwood has not commented publicly about the murder or Ryan Jenkins' involvement, his mother spoke to Global Television on Tuesday.

Nada Antic told Global Television of the sorrow she feels for the Fiore family.

"My condolences to Jasmine's family," Nada Antic, who lives in Vancouver, said in a telephone interview Tuesday.

"I'm sure they're going through the same thing we're going through. It's heartbreaking," she said in a telephone interview from Vancouver with Global BC.

"It's a nightmare. He's innocent as far as I'm concerned," Antic said.

Miss Universe cycles through Mexico City in anti-car campaign

Mexico City - Miss Universe - Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico - rode a bicycle through the streets of Mexico City on Monday, as part of a campaign by municipal authorities to discourage the use of cars.

Rivera, set to hand over the crown to her successor who is to be chosen May 28 at a ceremony in Mexico City, was accompanied on her tour by municipal Tourism Secretary Alejandra Barrales.

Mexico City Mayor Marcelo Ebrard and other city officials also resorted to pedaling to get to work on Monday. Many of them wore helmets, with some cycling through traffic alone and others in groups. Ebrard has asked his cabinet to cycle to work on the first Monday of each month since April.

Cycling is a risky sport in the Mexican capital and few people choose to practice it.

Former city mayor Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador built some cycle lanes, but most of them remain empty during the week. The current network is 120 kilometres long, while city authorities plan to build a further 300 kilometres over the next six years, with financial assistance from the World Bank.

California police focus on search for Jasmine Fiore's car

Someone may have helped Jasmine Fiore’s killer dispose of a suitcase containing her mutilated body, according to California authorities.

“We’re actively looking for anybody who may have participated in the murder, anybody who may have helped [Ryan Jenkins] flee from our jurisdiction, and for the victim’s car,” Susan Kang Schroeder, a spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney’s office, said Monday.

In Buena Park, Calif., police have issued a search warrant for Ryan Jenkins’s cellphone records and are looking for the white Mercedes that belonged to Fiore, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in a Buena Park dumpster on Saturday, Aug. 15.

The international manhunt that followed the discovery of Fiore’s body ended Sunday when Jenkins’s body was found hanging from a coat rack in a room at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope.

Jenkins’s father says he’s struggling to come to terms with the accusation that his son murdered Fiore and that he believes the former reality TV contestant was corrupted by the Hollywood lifestyle.

Jenkins, a Calgary real estate executive who appeared on two VH1 reality TV shows, was found dead eight days after he allegedly killed Fiore.

“If my son was guilty, he was crazy. He was not the boy we knew. The boy we knew was not capable of anything remotely close to this act,” said Dan Jenkins, a prominent Calgary architect. “You talk to everyone here who knew him before he went down there and they’ll talk about a wonderful young man, a thoughtful man.”

Jenkins said his son appears to have fallen into the wrong crowd in Hollywood and that he was incapable of the violence he is accused of committing. He “would faint at the sight of blood,” Dan Jenkins said, adding he could not speak about details of the case.

Buena Park police Sgt. Bill Kohanek said investigators hope finding Fiore’s car will lead them to the crime scene.

It’s also possible Fiore’s car was itself the crime scene.

“The evidence in the hotel room [at San Diego’s L’Auberge del Mar, where Jenkins was last seen with Fiore] doesn’t match the nature of the crime.”

In B.C., the RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating Jenkins’s suicide, examining the laptop computer and belongings that were in the room when his body was found.

So far, U.S. police have few leads as they investigate the possibility of an accomplice, said Kohanek. “We’ve had contact with both sides of [Jenkins’s] family and no one is trying to hide anything from us as far as we know. But as far as we’re concerned he’s still the only suspect [in Fiore’s death].”

Rebecca Gayheart of 38 is an American television and film actress. She was poised for the leap to primetime. She won a role on the iconic Fox hit “Beverly Hills, 90210” as Dylan McKay’s long awaited character companion Toni Marchette.

Toni quickly won the hearts of viewers, before tragically killed off eight episodes later. Her death remained one of the most shocking moments in TV history. Gayheart’s star continuing to growing up with roles in popular teen feature films as “Scream 2” and “Urban Legend” in 1997 and in 1998. She was temporarily cast as a series regular on the well-received, but short-lived WB drama, “WasteL.A.nd” in 1999, a “twenty-something” style ensemble drama created by “Scream” screenwriter, Kevin Williamson.

Unfortunately, Gayheart’s personal and professional life took suddenly downstairs turn at that time, when she was busy in enjoying a certain level of post “90210” success. During her life’s peak stage, 1990’s fame, she was engaged to infamous boy film director Brett Ratner of “Rush Hour” fame. After ten years, their relationship came to an end in 1999, due to allegedly Ratner’s habitual carousing. It was just beginning of bad luck.

Gayheart struck and subsequently killed a nine-year-old boy named Jorge Cruz Jr. in the summer of 2001. Cruz was going home from school. According to Police reports he had crossed the street about 150 to 175 feet from the nearest crosswalk. While majority cars stopped to let him pass, Gayheart turned sharply around them and turned directly into a two-way left-turn lane.

Gayheart struck the Cruz boy with her car in her impatience. Young Cruz died the next day at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital as suffering from critical internal injuries. Cruz’s parents filed a wrongful death suit against Gayheart. She agreed to pay for Cruz’s hospital and funeral expenses and pleaded no contest to vehicular unlawful death on November 27, 2001.

She was verdict to three years probation, a one-year suspension of her license, a $2,800 fine, and 750 hours of community service. She was viewed by many critics as merely a stuck on the wrist. Gayheart came back to the headlines later that year in another unfortunate auto accident in which she turned over her rental car into two parked vehicles. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed this time and no charges were filed.

Police: Sandra Bullock's Car Hit by Drunk Driver

Sandra Bullock was involved in an accident Friday night in which a drunk driver’s station wagon jumped lanes and hit the "Speed" actress’ car, police said.

No one was injured in the crash in Gloucester, Mass., where Bullock, who is in the area shooting a movie, was being driven in a private car to her hotel around 11 p.m., MyFOXBoston.com reported. Her husband Jesse James, host of "Motorcycle Mania," also was in the car.
